The Questions

FAQ · Read
Before You Buy.

Why are all the venues secret?
+
Every fete runs in the downtown King West core — but Toronto Carnival listings get scraped and overrun, and lines form for the wrong reasons. Feteverse holds each exact address until the week of so the room stays protected — capacity capped, no walk-ins, no chaos. You get the address direct to your inbox once you have a ticket.
When do I find out the location?
+
Everything runs in downtown King West, so you can plan your whole weekend around one part of the city. Exact addresses are released to ticket holders 5–7 days before each event. Bad Behaviour, Get Active, and a couple of others drop day-of by design — adds to the energy. All addresses come to the email you used to buy the ticket.
Refunds and transfers?
+
All sales final. Tickets are transferable to another person up to 48 hours before the event — just email us with the new attendee's details. The Weekend Pass is transferable but cannot be split across multiple people.
Age and ID?
+
19+ for all events. Government-issued photo ID required at entry. No exceptions.
Are these inside Toronto?
+
Yes — every Feteverse fete is in the downtown King West core. One part of the city, all weekend. In Tha 6ix is the locals' Monday closer, kept 6ix-only by design.
Is this part of the official Toronto Caribbean Carnival?
+
Feteverse is an independent event series running fetes across the Toronto Carnival long weekend. We are not affiliated with the official Toronto Caribbean Carnival or the parade itself. We program the after-fetes, day parties, and night events around the official festival.
Who's behind Feteverse?
+
Feteverse is built by the team behind Carnival Splash — the Lavelle rooftop fete that ran full till close on Carnival Saturday 2024. Same hands, same standard for the room. The difference this year: nine fetes across the long weekend instead of one.
Why capacity-capped?
+
A fete only works if the room is full. We size every venue to be intentionally tight. Once we hit our cap, sales close — no overselling, no half-empty floors, no rooms that lose energy mid-night.
What's the music format?
+
Soca, dancehall, bashment, afrobeats, ampiano, reggae, hip hop — depending on the fete. Each event is programmed for its slot. Day Break and Ready For Di Road are road-anthem heavy. Bad Behaviour and Get Active lean dancehall. Soca Pack is soca-forward. Read the event copy for specifics.
Who's playing the fetes?
+
Feteverse runs with a team of soca selectors put together for the weekend — day-party selectors for the road anthems, night-fete selectors for the dancehall and bashment. The full DJ lineup is announced end of July, ahead of the weekend.
